Our overnight volleyball summer camp program offers a diverse curriculum that focuses on refining individual skills such as serving, passing, and spiking, while also emphasizing strategic team dynamics.

COACH Zipporah Washington

Zipporah Washington is the Head Volleyball Coach at Southern University at New Orleans, where she has led the Knights to multiple conference championships. A proud alumna, Washington was originally hired in 2015 and returned in 2022 to spearhead a powerful resurgence of the program. Under her leadership, SUNO volleyball has reestablished itself as a conference contender, grounded in discipline, player development, and competitive excellence. As a student-athlete, Washington was a standout All-American and Conference Player of the Year in 2013—experience she now brings full circle as a coach dedicated to mentoring the next generation.

COACH Simone Asque-Favia

Simone Asque-Favia brings a deep and diverse Division I coaching résumé to the court. Most recently, she served as Assistant Coach at the University of Arizona, following three seasons as Head Coach at Siena College, where she led the program’s competitive and cultural growth. Her coaching journey also includes assistant roles at Seton Hall, Coastal Carolina, New Jersey Institute of Technology, and UIC, giving her a broad perspective across conferences and playing styles. A former standout at the University of Virginia, Asque-Favia was a First-Team All-ACC outside hitter and remains among the program’s all-time leaders in kills and kills per set, an elite playing foundation that informs her technical, athlete-centered coaching approach.

ATHLETIC CENTER

Our Athletic Center features pristine indoor volleyball courts that set the stage for top-tier competition and skill development. Complemented by a fully-equipped weight training room, our center provides a comprehensive environment for athletes to enhance their strength and conditioning.

SUMMER 2026 DATES & RATES

MULTI-SESSION SAVINGS:

  • Two Sessions: $800 SAVINGS plus free Crossover ($5,200 total)

  • Three Sessions: $1,200 SAVINGS plus free Crossover ($7,800 total)

There is an additional $150 Player Pack fee per camper.

Sport-Specific Program Fees (per session)

  • $350: Golf Program

  • $450 Ice Hockey Program

CROSSOVER WEEKENDS

EXTEND THE EXPERIENCE

Multi-session campers can keep the momentum going with our CROSSOVER weekend, designed to bridge the gap between sessions at no extra cost.

Crossover campers enjoy a relaxed Friday evening, including a special outing to explore downtown Great Barrington, followed by a full off-site adventure on Saturday. It is the perfect balance of fun, excitement and program change giving campers a chance to expand their Berkshire United experience before starting their next BUSC session.
